Three New Resources

I would like to draw your attention to three new resources on my website (www.grahamlowe.ca). These resources will be relevant for anyone whose organization is striving to create a more psychologically healthy and safe workplace – as promoted by the National Standard of Canada for Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace.

Video: My 7 minute interview with Rob Hislop on How Healthy Organizations Support Resilient Workforces at the 2016 Petroleum Safety Conference is based on my keynote presentation at the conference, which emphasized the close links between a safety culture and psychological health and safety.

Podcast: This premier Head Forward podcast, Workplace Wellness – It’s More Than You Think, features a 15 minute conversation with me, offering practical suggestions for improving your work environment. Head Forward podcasts are sponsored by Arete Human Resources Inc.

Blog: My blog on The New Resilience: What It Means for Leaders and Organizations describes resilience as an old concept that is finding new resonance today. Decades ago, psychologists studied the sources of personal resilience among children who overcame significant disadvantages to succeed in school and life. Now, the concept of resilience is being applied to leaders and organizations. Resilience can be learned. It also can be viewed as an outcome of a psychologically healthy workplace. This is the organizational context needed to cultivate a resilient workforce.

You can use the links above, or go to www.grahamlowe.ca, to access all these resources.
